Why does my body feel hesitant to open up?
Your body feels hesitant to open up simply because it has not found a reason to open up. It really is as simple as that.
Arousal Begins in the Brain
Biologically, getting turned on starts in your brain, not necessarily in your vagina, and not just with you having an erection. If you don’t feel wet or you don’t feel erect, it’s because you’re not being stimulated biologically, and that means you’re not being stimulated in your mind.
Why the Message Isn’t Reaching Your Body
If your body isn’t responding, it’s because you’re not receiving the message that should be getting things going below. That happens when you haven’t found anything truly exciting.
The Real Question: Are You Actually Excited?
So the real question isn’t “Why is my body hesitant?” The question is whether you’re actually excited. Are you with someone who excites you? Are you doing what excites you? Would you rather be doing something else? What exactly is depriving you of excitement?
Excitement Is the Foundation of Arousal
Until that is addressed, you’re not going to get turned on. And if you don’t get turned on, you’re not going to get wet, you’re not going to get erect, and you’re not going to do much of anything in a meaningful way.
Arousal Can Happen—But Not Sustain Itself
You could still get wet or get erect to a degree, but you won’t be able to sustain it long enough to have great sex.
