Why Your Body Freezes During Sex
Why freeze when it is time to have sex? Freezing many times is an indicator that your body does not feel safe enough, and here are a few things you should consider. One, make out a lot longer than you currently do or than you did before the time you froze. Two, listen to your body.
At what point does your body freeze? Does it freeze in the beginning? Does it freeze when your clothes start coming off? You need to know when your body freezes and see if it is a pattern. If it has happened three, four, or five times, then it is time to see an expert. The third thing to look at is how you feel when you stop or when you freeze.
Do you feel shame? Do you feel anger? Do you still want to continue? Number four, ask yourself something honest. If you did not have sex with this person, would you feel grateful? If you were not considering their emotions, if you were not thinking about them, would you feel relief? If yes, then your body is probably telling you that it is not ready to have sex with this person, even if you have been with them for a long time. This may be because there are underlying emotions, which leads to the fifth thing to check.
What would you prefer to happen if you were not having sex in this moment? If there is something else you would rather focus on or discuss, then your body is letting you know that sex is not what it wants right now. Your nervous system is giving you cues, and it is important to listen.
